Frequently Asked Questions

During Use

Q: The name of the university or certification examination being applied to is not displayed.
A: A school (or certification examination) that is not listed is not available with this service. Check the guidelines, etc. of each university or certification examination to confirm the payment details.

Q: What is the reference number?
A: It is the number listed on the applicant ticket of the university, and is required if you are asked to enter it.

Q: What does "outside of payment period" mean?
A: There is a payment period for each selected payment content. The service cannot be used outside of this period. Check with guidelines etc.

Q: The screen does not change when clicking a selection or "Next."
A: There is a possibility that the PC is out of memory and is frozen or slowed down.
If the desktop is filled with many icons, try reducing the number of icons. In addition, if there are many programs running (icons displayed next to the clock on the lower right of the screen), you may need to suspend/shut-down or restart to resolve the issue.

Q: A system error is displayed and the service has been interrupted.
A: An error message is displayed if special characters or symbols are entered, or if used with a special device other than a PC or smartphone (such as a gaming device). Special characters or symbols cannot be entered. A registration error can occur when entering your name with external characters (kanji characters other than JIS level 1 or level 2). In this case please use alternative characters.
(Example) "髙" and "﨑" → "高" and "崎"

This service is available for a PC, smartphone or tablet.

Q: A session error is displayed and the service has been interrupted.
A: This error occurs when there has been a problem with maintaining the data when moving to the next screen, and could be displayed due to the PC in use and/or the Internet environment.
If an error has occurred because a screen of a URL other than those listed in the guidelines is registered, such as a bookmark or favorite, please delete the registration, enter from a URL listed in the guidelines and start the application procedure again.

Q: "Warning: the page has passed the expiry deadline" is displayed and the service has been interrupted.
A: This error is displayed if the devices in a Wi-Fi or wireless LAN environment update their connection data at a fixed time, which forcibly erases the necessary data. The problem can be resolved by changing the connection settings of the wired LAN that uses a cable or the wireless LAN device. (Please directly contact manufacturer of the device being used about changing the settings).

After Entry Is Completed

Q: The entered content (personal information and selection of cost) is mistaken.
A: If the payment has already been completed with the selected settlement method, please contact the university or certification examination administrator directly.

Also be aware that settlement by credit card is completed simultaneously with the application.

Q: E-mail is not received after application.
A: Please check whether or not there was an error when entering the e-mail address.
If there was a mistake, make corrections before applying again.
